LOUDER THAN LIFE:
America's largest rock and metal festival returns to Louisville this summer with the biggest and most diverse line-up in the event's history.
Iron Maiden, My Chemical Romance, Limp Bizkit and TOOL are set to headline Louder Than Life, which is scheduled for Sept. 17 through 20 at the Kentucky Exposition Center.
Nearly 200 bands will perform across seven stages.
“Last year, we took over Kentucky Kingdom and broke rock festival records. This year, we’re back to deliver the ultimate rock escape,” says Danny Wimmer of Danny Wimmer Productions. “Louder Than Life is your playground — ride the coasters, catch legendary and emerging bands, enjoy incredible food and bourbon, and dive headfirst into the rock experience you’ve been waiting for. It’s time to let loose and have fun. We’ll see you soon.”
For the second-straight year, all Louder Than Life passholders are set to receive free access to amusement rides inside Kentucky Kingdom.
"Year after year, Louder Than Life raises the bar for what a rock festival can be," said David S. Beck, President & CEO of Kentucky Venues. "Bringing the festival grounds to the heart of the Kentucky Exposition Center last year demonstrated what's possible when a world-class venue and a visionary festival producer share a commitment to the ultimate fan experience."
This year's line-up features a spectacular spectrum of artists spanning all genres — and eras — of heavy music.
Legendary, old-school performers, including Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Alice Cooper, Anthrax and Danzig, highlight the opening day of the festival. In addition, Pantera is set for the band's only U.S. show of 2026.
My Chemical Romance brings the Black Parade to Louisville on Sept. 18. A Day To Remember, Pierce The Veil, The Pretty Reckless and The Used are also set to take the stage.
On Sept. 19, LTL will feature one of the most prominent all-female fronted line-ups ever at an American festival, including Halestorm, In This Moment, Lindsey Stirling, Orianthi, Icon For Hire, Kami Kehoe and Diamante.
TOOL, Gojira and Mastodon return to LTL to headline the final day of the festival, while Danny Elfman is set for his first show in the Eastern half of the United State in nearly a decade.
In addition, a mystery guest band will make their live debut and one of the biggest heavy bands of the modern era will be announced at a later date.
LTL will also feature several other special moments.
Megadeth's performance is part of the band's farewell tour. Circa Survive, Get Scared, Blood For Blood, Metal Church, Primer 55, Sent By Ravens and 40 Below Summer are set for reunion sets.
Cavalera will deliver an exclusive performance of the iconic Sepultura album "Roots" for the first time in nearly a decade. Chad Gray, the voice of Mudvayne and Hellyeah is set for a rare solo performance.
Jimmy Eat World, Sleeping With Sirens, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Red and Alien Art Farm are scheduled to deliver anniversary performances in celebration of their biggest albums.
Other artists set to performance include: The Prodigy, Sublime, Papa Roach, BABYMETAL, Bilmuri, Sabaton, Coheed and Combria, Black Label Society, Starset, Nothing More, Machine Head, Ministry, President, GWAR.
